This story about how to paint acrylic painting step by step. (please do not judge grammar and style because English is my second language, thanks! )
First what you need is inspiration, because if you do not have it then your painting will not successful. How did I get an inspiration for this painting One day I visited opera Carmen and I loved the whole music of that opera and especially Toreador song. Here is that music:

I painted series of painting about bullfight listening that Torero song from a Carmen. And all these paintings were sold pretty quickly, (I have to mention here that I never charge to much for my painting, because first of all it is my pleasure to paint ) And people still were asking me for these paintings, then I was commissioned to make a new painting on same subject matter. What could be better to paint what I love and  getting paid for it?!

Then made quick sketch for the composition. On the sketch you can see that I cropped the body of a torero and a bull, this way you can paint big on small canvas, also I think it look more dramatic that way.

And this how I started, first I made freehand sketch with a brush on a canvas (if you not sure then you can transfer your small sketch by using grid method or projector) After when wet paint of line sketch dried, start applying a paint, with a lot of water and I was using a spray bottle to make a surface wet, you may see a lot of drips, some of them will covered some will stay. I do not care much about drips and brush strokes at the beginning.
